Dear Mother, I am Motherhood, the path you’ve walked, the journey you’ve embraced, and the lessons you’ve learned. I have seen you grow, adapt, and find strength in the most challenging of times. Today, I wish to share with you a message of godly wisdom, drawn from the very depths of your experiences. The Quest…

Dear mother,  As a pilots wife, you’ve had to raise your children alone for stretches at a time. I know you are grateful for a job that has provided for your growing family over the years. I also have seen the burdens you have carried and am proud of the way you have asked God…

Dear Mother,  I have not burdened you in respect to laundry. Although I hear your complaints and see your time spent; this part of us is necessary. Dear mother,  Your union, relationship, and friendship with your husband allowed me to flourish. I know the strength of this bond affects how you see me and the energy you used to treat me well.   Love in this relationship; true biblical love (you know, patience, kindness, not being rude or self-seeking) this love will hold…

Hi, I’m Cara!

I have been writing on and off in a journal since I was 12 years old. Although writing has been difficult for me I have found joy in poetry and expressing my prayers, concerns, and dreams in my journal.

In these Letters I hope you are encouraged as I write as if Motherhood, herself is sharing wisdom with us to keep our eyes on the truth of who we are and what we are doing.

Lately  I have needed some wisdom and truth to meditate on! At the age of 40 and 15 weeks pregnant with my 10th baby I have been having moments of complaining and overthinking.

So I decided to write to myself with the truths and wisdom I have learned from my 19 years of marriage and 9 other pregnancies.
