Dear mother,
Your union, relationship, and friendship with your husband allowed me to flourish. I know the strength of this bond affects how you see me and the energy you used to treat me well.
Love in this relationship; true biblical love (you know, patience, kindness, not being rude or self-seeking) this love will hold your relationship together on both ends. I know sometimes you or him will not love each other in this way. Your emotions, his words or lack thereof may hurt one another. At this moment do not lash out nor hide away your feelings. Communication is the key, don’t bristle up when confronted and do not confront with a pointed finger, but practice love again. Share how you feel and what you need.
If he is unable to meet every need or understand every feeling remember your creator, and who made you. You are no mistake you, are made in the image of God, you are his workmanship. Trust your father in heaven and lean on his love and strength. When misunderstood or rejected, stop, pray, and seek God first. Then share your heart with this man also made in the image of God given gifts and abilities that can better equip you in your journey to maturity in Christ. do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.
